Lately, Shane wants to be doing whatever I am doing. So I decided the other day to try sitting him up on the counter next to me while I washed dishes. I gave him a dish brush and he went to town.
I got the dishes done, and Shane was entertained. I think this may be the start of something beautiful!

I tried the same thing with Clare as I was baking muffins. BIG MISTAKE! Let's just say that more batter ended up on the floor and in between her fingers that in the pan. Ahhh...
