Thanksgiving

I have debated over whether or not to keep this blog going when it seems like noone is reading it and it is way easier to just post on instagram and make a book that way.  But tonight I'll keep it alive and post one from my most recent memory, that I have a lot of pictures of- Thanksgiving!  It started out with the night before thanksgiving, when Josh finished the dining room table he has been working on in the garage just in time!  We had to have some people come help us move it in, because according to Josh's calculations the table top was 400 pounds!
He built it just how I wanted it, and I love it.  And I like the colors we put in the room too, that was the room with the lovely floral wallpaper.  Just working on getting some things up on the walls.
The Yoders came the day before Thanksgiving too, so that was exciting for everyone, I think especially this girl.  She sureloves her Aunt Shannon.
The kids all got along really well and had a lot of fun togehther.  Here we all are doing some Thanksgiving Mad Libs.
Thanksgiving morning Shannon, Kate, and I ran the Greensboro Gobbler.  It was obviously our first time but I think we all had a really good time, even though Kate threw up because she pushed herself so hard up the last big hill!
We finished off the Mad Libs book on Thanksgiving,
 enjoyed hanging out,

and even played some baseball.  The weather was beautiful.

Kevin worked hard all day, and pretty much singlehandedly made us this delicious feast.  He smoked the turkey (I loooooved it that way), and there was homemade stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green been casserole, rolls, veggies, jello/pretzel salad, cranberry sauce, and apple cider.  We were all pretty stuffed after but had apple pie and pumpkin pie from Costco, vanilla ice cream, and peanut butter Texas sheet cake for dessert.
So much happiness in this picture- people I love, good food, and a table to hold them all.
If I could have designed the perfect Thanksgiving, I don't think I would have changed much.  Hopefully the first of many to come!
