(My cute little marshmallow)
It is a cool little festival where they have all kinds of snow sculptures around to look at. Here are a few of my favorites
They had ice sculptures too. I made Josh pose by the one for the hospital he'll working with.
There was also a little petting area for the kids. Shane liked looking, but not so much the touching.
"Ah there are puddles here too!!!" With a little swaying from mom and dad he realized that cold puddles are not the same deal. Wait til spring buddy.
A little glimpse of the town. After checking out the snow sculptures we walked down main street and browsed the shops. The hardest part of the day was choosing which candy shoppe to get fudge from!
Then we went to the Bavarian Inn to warm up and have lunch. It's the same place Pat and I went, but a different area. This one had waitresses dressed up in cute little German costumes and my personal favorite, an accordion player. Not to mention, a gluten free burger for Josh- with a bun!
It was festively cold but not unbearable, and it was nice to just be together and do something fun. Josh's semester is the most relaxed he's had, so we are enjoying doing things with him while he has a little time to do them!

That Inn sounds delicious! I love seeing what talented people can do with a little snow and ice. I don't think I could ever do that. Cold puddles are definitely not as fun as warm ones. Poor Shane!
SO fun!! :) i think i shivered while looking at your pictures. and kelly, your little belly is ADORABLE!! please please keep up with the belly pics. :)
Maybe it's just me, but Shane looks like he is really looking more grown up. Your belly is oh-so-cute! It makes me happy that you include these belly shots. I can only dream someday I will look as good as you preggo. I LOVE the kid licking the pole! Looks like a fun outing :)
You guys are too cute! I'm glad that your loving Michigan!
It looks like a lot of fun. Once again it makes me wish that we got snow out here. Brooklyn loved it while we were in Utah and continues to ask about it. Oh well, I guess there are good things about no snow.
I think we have the same hat for Kade as Shane is wearing. :)
I am freezing just LOOKING at these pictures! It is a high of like 49 here today with wind and we were about to die. Dang AZ weather turning me into a wimp! haha
